Product Profile

Our Second Generation Railcar Valves were designed for use on bottom dump coal or aggregate cars hauling all types of bulk materials. These valves feature many operational and safety enhancements over our Original Series models (which were developed during the early 90’s) providing for the safe and efficient operation of railcars. Developed in 2007 and based on the same “sliding shoe” design as their predecessor, these valves are the number one valve of choice for bottom dump coal car owner/operators. We have an installed base of nearly 100,000 valves in the field.

The multi-station manifolded version of the Second Generation valves were developed specifically for use on bottom dump aggregate railcars. The doors on a car may be opened/closed individually or all at the same time via electrical touch pads on the railcars.
